American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to fighting cancer through research, education, patient service, advocacy, and rehabilitation. National Cancer Institute
The National Cancer Institute site is a comprehensive consumer and professional resource on the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and their families. In addition, the National Cancer Institute provides information about grant and funding opportunities, plans for cancer research, and training programs for cancer investigators.

American Academy of Dermatology (AAD)

Cancer BACUP is a comprehensive cancer information service of the United Kingdom. Its stated mission is to give cancer patients and their families the up-to-date information, practical advice, and support they need to reduce the fear and uncertainty of cancer. The site includes information about precancerous conditions, the diagnosis and treatment of specific cancers, drugs in development, and living with cancer.
American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)
ASCO is the world's leading professional organization representing physicians who treat people with cancer. ASCO's Web site is a cancer resource for oncology professionals and consumers, providing the latest news in cancer research, a searchable listing of ASCO oncologists, and professional resources for ASCO members.
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
ONS is a national organization of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals dedicated to excellence in patient care, teaching, research, administration, and education in the field of oncology. ClinicalTrials.gov was developed by the U.S. National Institutes of Health, through its National Library of Medicine. The site provides patients, family members, and the public current information about clinical research studies for a wide range of diseases and medical conditions. Studies listed in the database are conducted primarily in the United States and Canada, but include locations in about 70 countries. ClinicalTrials.gov
currently contains over 6,500 clinical studies sponsored by the National Institutes of Health, other Federal agencies, and the pharmaceutical industry in over 71,000 locations worldwide.
