Fotemustine: A chemotherapy agent sometimes used to treat metastatic melanoma. It belongs to a class of chemotherapeutic agents called nitrosoureas. Fraction: a daily dose of radiation, one part of a total prescribed dose of radiation. Fractionated: divided into fractions, or several daily doses of radiation. Freckles: Small, tan, flat spots that appear on the skin due to exposure to the sun's ultraviolet radiation. Also known as ephelides. |
